Welcome to the official blog site of Dave Christie Photography. This is our direct line of communication to our current and future clients. We are a growing photography business serving the Omaha metropolitan area with a focus on providing exceptional service. We do this by making sure we spend quality time with our clients to ensure that we understand what your needs are so we can meet and hopefully exceed your expectations.

A little bit about me. I have had an interest in photography since I was a child, but it was kept at a hobby level. Back around 2001, I began doing event photography in my spare time which eventually evolved into portraiture. I am a firm believer that you need to enjoy what you do or it never rises above just being a job. Over the years I have educated myself both formally and self-taught. I have pushed myself to soak up as much knowledge as I can through relationships with local and national organizations and with other photographers. On a personal level, I am married with three teenagers and one overly affectionate Golden Retriever. My wife (Lisa) works with me on the majority of my sessions and brings a lot of added value and insights as well as service to our studio.

Our business is a recognized business in the state of Nebraska. We are members of Professional Photographers of Nebraska, Professional Photographers of America, as well as other associations such as the National Associate of Photoshop Professionals, and charitable photographic organizations such as Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (nilmdts). We are committed to professionalism and doing our best to freeze moments in time for our clients in the form of photographic images and portraits.
